Hatching Eggs

Chelsey’s Chickens Hatchery offers a variety of hatching chicken and duck eggs. Please note that hatching eggs cannot be sexed.

During periods of extreme weather, we encourage customers to use their best judgment when deciding whether to have hatching eggs shipped. You can read more about our shipping rates and the precautions we take to safely ship hatching eggs directly to your door. Hatching eggs are typically delivered to your address rather than being held at the post office, unlike live chicks. For additional delivery details, please contact your local post office.

We guarantee that all eggs will arrive unbroken; however, due to the many variables involved in shipping, incubation, and hatching, we cannot guarantee hatch rates. Any breakage must be reported upon arrival.

After transport—whether eggs are picked up at the hatchery or shipped—please allow them to rest for at least 12 hours before placing them in the incubator. Chicken hatching eggs are stamped by breed.
